What does Salon Privé mean?

The direct translation of Salon Privé from French is ‘private lounge’. The event is classed as a Concours d’Elégance, or a ‘competition of elegance’ - a Parisian tradition dating back to the 17th century.

Who owns Salon Privé?

Salon Privé is run by brothers David & Andrew Bagley who were inspired by the ideals and ethos of early Concours d’Elégance to begin their own exclusive automotive event.

Salon Privé is held at Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, 8 miles to the north-west of Oxford. Blenheim Palace is an idyllic country estate with a long and rich history. Most notably, it was the birthplace of Winston Churchill.
